Text To Speech feature depends on the browsers, user languages and voices installed in the device. Best support on PC version of Microsoft Edge (full list of natural voices), Google Chrome (with Google voices), Mozilla Firefox (default voices only)

HOW TO SPEAK TEXT TO FILE?

There are many approaches to do this, depending on your needs and the devices you have. However, I must recommend the easiest and most effective one - combination of IBM Watson TTS and Smart Audio Capture Edge Add-ons to capture the audio file.

This is the certainly completely free to use, but with some limited voices, and possible some quotas limitations.

Steps

    1. Listen your text with IBM Watson TTS

  • Go to the IBM Watson TTS
  • Select Language, Dialect, Voice, adjust speed, pitch
  • Enter or paste the text you'd like to convert to
  • Tap button to listen
  • Before continuing, make sure you can here the text spoken well.

    2. Open Smart Audio Capture -> Start recording tab -> Play/Save the the audio to file
